Organizational Announcement: Corporate Department Changes

We are pleased to announce that several corporate departments have been restructured to better position our talented team to meet the operational needs of the company. The changes as outlined below help deliver on Save Mart’s goal of continually providing top-tier service and increased efficiencies across the organization.

Human Resources has realigned key areas of their operation:

Human Resources/Employee Engagement will continue to be led by Angela Mills-Dixon, Executive Director of Human Resources and Employee Engagement. Functional areas of responsibilities include Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, and the newly-aligned HR Business Partnerships team. The HR Business Partnerships team plays an important consultative role and is a strategic resource for the supply chain and their assigned banners on all people-related matters. They will provide guidance and focus on employee engagement, our mission/vision/values, and objectives set forth by the company. In order to not conflict with the critical purpose of an HR Business Partner, this team will no longer have a direct role with the issue resolution process (i.e., investigations, discipline, and other related components). The issue resolution process will be managed by the Employee Relations Department. Click here for the organizational chart reflecting the updated structure.

Human Resources will continue to be led by Larry Sanford, Executive Director of Human Resources. Functional areas of responsibilities include Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, Leaves Administration, Office Services, Employee Relations for Corporate and Support, and the newly-aligned Employee Relations Department for Stores and Supply Chain, led by Hector Salas, Director Employee Relations (Corporate, Stores and Supply Chain). Labor Relations will continue to be led by Christopher Getaz, Executive Director, Labor Relations.
